Born in Düsseldorf (Germany), Johannes Gramsch concertmaster since 2003 is the suit of the cellos Orchestra, a position he also held Vlaams Radio Orkest in orchestras, Orchestre Philharmonique Orchestra and Philharmonic Européen de Málaga.

Appeared as soloist with the Belgian Radio Orchestra, the Duisburger Kammerakademie, the European Chamber Orchestra, the State Orchestra of Transylvania, the Camerata Berlin, the Orchestra, the Radio Symphony of Thessaloniki (Greece), among others.

He is frequently invited to international festivals such as Schleswig-Holstein, Van Vlaanderen, Athens International Musiksommer Dresden, Festival de Brasília, among others.

As a member of Vieuxtemps String Quartet, performed in Europe, South America, South Africa and Japan won the First Prize and the Arthur Weinmann Competition in 1994.

CDs recorded in duo with pianist Oliver Drechsel, Ulla Van Daelen harpist and organist Andreas Wolf.

He studied with Georg Faust (concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic cello) and Mary Tchaikovskaia the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and perfected with Natalia Gutman, Mischa Maisky and Ivan Monighetti.

Currently a member of the Quartet OSESP.
